Dorothy Kurtz Phelan, DPM, CWSP, FACFAS, FASPS, DBFASASPS Board Secretary Dr. Dorothy Kurtz Phelan is a Foot & Ankle Surgeon and Wound Specialist in Wakefield, MA, with over 28 years of experience in podiatric medicine, surgery and wound care. Dr. Kurtz graduated from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine and completed a surgical residency at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills, MI, followed by an AO/ASIF International Trauma Fellowship in Vienna, Austria. Dr. Kurtz is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Massachusetts Foot & Ankle Society, and a member of the Board of Directors of the American Society of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. She is board certified by the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and by the American Board of Wound Management.
